Lindsay Forno

Owner/Instructor

Lindsay Forno began her dance career at age four, winning scholarships, titles, high scores and special awards throughout her years as a competitive dancer. She was a member of Hofstra University’s nationally ranked dance team in New York, as a D1 champion, where she received her Bachelor's in both Dance and Business. She is trained in acro, musical theater, tap, pom, ballet, hip hop, lyrical, contemporary, acting, and jazz. She has had the opportunity to train vigorously with various instructors from Joffrey, Alvin Ailey, and Broadway Dance Center. Through her years she has had the opportunity to perform in many Disney parades and shows, as well as dance performances all across the world. One of her favorites being the Disney Spectacular parade, and the Jonas Brothers performance in Orlando. While she continues to dance, she also teaches at studios throughout the Northeast, spending a lot of her time in New York City in her past years, and has since now relocated to the Eastern Shore. Lindsay is still currently judging all through the coast for various dance competitions, sharing her knowledge and drive for dancers up and coming. She is on staff teaching musical theater, jazz, hip-hop, and lyrical/contemporary on various convention staffs. She takes pride in successfully educating and training dancers to be accepted on elite college dance teams. Lindsay is an award-winning choreographer in the competition world and loves sharing her passion for dance with children of all ages.

Competition Ballet Instructor

LEO MCGRATH grew up in Savannah, GA and began tap dancing at age seven. After dancing for several years with various studios around the Savannah area, he began training in ballet at the age of 13 to gain entry to Savannah Arts Academy. During his senior year, he accepted a trainee position at Next Generation Ballet in Tampa, FL under Peter Stark. Since then, he has danced professionally with Milwaukee Ballet as a part of Milwaukee Ballet II, Ballet Austin as a Butler Fellow, Ballet Tucson, Northwest Arkansas Ballet Theatre, and now with First State Ballet Theatre. He has performed in ballets such as Michael Pink's Dorian Grey, Septime Webre's ALICE (in wonderland), Daniel Precup's Carmen, Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye's Cinderella, Stephanie Martinez' Otra Vez, Otra Vez, Otra Vez, Ryan Jolicoeur-Nye's Immortal Beloved, and restagings of Giselle, Swan Lake, Talisman Pas, and Don Quixote. Leo is in his third season with First State Ballet Theatre.

Tap Instructor

Conner has done a significant amount of Tap Dance related work from his earlier years performing with The American Tap Dance Foundation and other New York shows including Ayodele Cassels, Tappy Holidays. Most significantly, Conner joined a cast called TAP STARS who brought their performance from the Kennedy Center all the way to Vancouver. Currently Conner performs & trains with the Philadelphia Tap Jazz Ensemble while also doing various solo performances & teaching up & down the east coast. “Tap dance is something that is often misunderstood & misrepresented so it is my job to consistently keep my best foot forward, teach from where I’ve been taught & give credit back to the Masters of Tap Dance - starting with Bill Robinson.” You can follow Conner’s Tap Dance journey on Instagram @itsconnerkelly
